Kotone Nagasaki(長崎市 'コトネ ,Nagaski Kotone) is a jōnin-level kunochi , a skilled medical-nin ,and former ANBU member of Konohagakure .

Background[]

Kotone hails from the Nagasaki Clan , a highly revered clan paticularly known for its medical abilities , only rivaled by the Nara's .Kotone's mother died in childbirth , leaving Kotone the only heir to head the Nagasaki . Because of this reason , Kotone's father pushed her to become the best and often trained her to her limits .

Kotone graduated from the Academy at the age of 8 and became a chūnin at the age of 12 . Kotone later became a jōnin at 17, and joined the ANBU but quit after a missions which left 2 of her commerads dead.

Being of the Nagasaki , Kotone held a keen skill as a medical ninja . Kotone persued her medical ninja career by apprenticing under Tsunadae before she left Kohana . This being said , she and Shizune were great friends , as shown when they gave each other friendship braclets before Shizune departed with Tsunadae .

During the Nine-Tails' attack on Konoha , Kotone , was amongst the many other young ninja to help in repelling the beast, but the group was barred from participating by the older shinobi .

Kotone means " sound of a koto" .
Kotone's name is more or less a pun , seeing as how her seems to deal with music , and music is often heard in the background . This relates to her often being seen in the background in a few Naruto Chapters and Episodes.

- Her hobbies are having evening drinks and taking long strools

- - Kotone's favorite foods are zōni and plums. She prefers more mild food and tends to favor more traditonal foods .Kotone dislikes super sweet or spicy foods .

  - Although she won't admit it , Kotone has a soft spot for cute things.

Kotone is the second ( after Kurenai Yūhi ) of the principle sensei not to be seen wearing a flank jacket reguarley . The only time when she is seen wearing on is during the 4th Shinobi War .
