Konohana Ishikawa (石川此花, Ishikawa Konohana) was a jōnin-level kunoichi of Konohagakure and the leader of Team Konohana.
Background[]
Konohana grew up peacefully in Konohagakure, and she had a reputation of one of the best ninja in terms of chakra control. She later took up being a leader to a squad, which consisted of Naomi Uzumaki, Emi Fuyu and Tomoko Yuki. This team only had female members as there were no more males to group them up with, so the three girls ended up on the same team. Konohana has married a man, Ninigi Yamamoto, when she was the tender age of 19. A few years later, she gave birth to a girl, Chiharu, but while the baby was born healthy, Konohana's health deteriorated and she soon died.
Personality[]
Konohana was a kind woman, but she was strict when she was needed to be. She was loyal to her village and comrades, and she deeply loved her husband and daughter, even though she only spent a few minutes with the latter. She was always ready to help and was good at keeping secrets, such as when she discovered Tomoko's kekkei genkai, Konohana helped her keep it a secret, and this secret went with her to her grave.

Konohana had fair skin with pale blue-green eyes and dark pink hair that was usually partly up in two buns with the rest of her hair down and her bangs hanging on her forehead. She noticably wore pink lipstick. Her usual clothing consisted of a pale blue kimono-style dress that was mid-thigh length, and one of the sides was sleeveless while the other had a short sleeve. The dress had a purple design. She wore bandages on her thighs and dark shinobi sandals. She also wore a dark blue sash on her waist and pale blue chopsticks in her hair, two in each bun.

Nature Type[]
Konohana was a Fire Release nature type, so she was able to perform Fire Release techniques much more easier than any other techniques of other nature types.
Chakra Control[]
Konohana's reputation was mostly thanks to this, as she had one of the best chakra control in the village that aided her in performing many techniques.
Trivia[]
- "Ishikawa" literally means "stone river".
- The name "Konohana" came from Konohanasakuya-hime, who is the blossom-princess and symbol of delicate earthly life in Japanese mythology. Konohana's hair and eye colours were chosen to match her namesake represents, however her hair noticably a darker pink compared to normal blossoms.
- Ironically, Konohana's husband has the same name as the god who is the husband of Konohanasakuya-hime. This was done intentionally by the creator.
